The company founders have been very active since 2003 in the MAV research community. They were developing robotic platforms of autonomous Quadrotors, Coaxial helicopters and mini-airplanes at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Remarkable results were achieved and a considerable experience was gathered in design, control and integration of MAVs.
